Cub Scouts get to shoot bb guns, archery, go camping, race pinewood derby cars and raingutter regatta boats, build birdhouses, make crafts and have campfires. It's that time of year when Scouts sell Trail End Popcorn as their annual fundraiser. 70% of the money stays local and a minimum of 25% of sales stay with the Pack to help with program cost. Support Cub Scouting today and purchase Trails End Popcorn. Remember the items also make great gifts. Congratulations to all the Cub Scouts of Pack 384 that graduated to the next rank. It is another step in the adventure that awaits them in Scouting. Have a fun and safe summer. Pinewood Derby starts at 7:30 am January 26. Come early for pancakes. Thank You !!!!!! September 22 2007 several Scouts from the Eagle Patrol joined Troop 384 for a great weekend on the Brazos River at Worth Ranch. Here are some pictures. Every fall is "Round-up" time when we recruit new boys to the Pack, including first grade boys who become Tiger Cubs. This year we are pleased to have new Scouts join the Pack in all ranks. Our new Cub Scouts are; Isaiah, Justin, Cade, Dalton, James, Mathew, Triston, Casey. We also want to thank Brad Boyett for accepting the position of Tiger leader. After coming back from summer vacation the Webelo I patrol chose a patrol name. I was impressed at how fast Mikey, Logan, Cody, James and Patrick came together and decided Lightning would be their patrol name. The theme is Family Tree and scouts are restless as the Packs annual Cake Bake fundraiser begins. Raffle tickets are purchased as the scout families enter and the cake entries are checked in and numbered. The event starts with the Flag Ceremony performed by the Webelos-I patrol, then proceeds with a raffle of various items including a portable DVD player won by Justin P. |
